Our Flagship Store
With over 500 years of history, our Flagship Store is a Tea Merchants store with a difference, a few hundred yards from Canterbury Cathedral we welcome thousands of visitors to our Store each year. We package our teas in our Tea Mixery and create our unique wellness herbal blends by hand. Browse familiar favourites, or discover something different. Our on-site tea house gives you a tea experience to see our in house blending and sample our teas.
We have been described as an 'institution', our tea and cake displays heralded as the best in Canterbury. Scones and bakery treats are freshly baked by us from scratch and our strawberry Jam is sweet and pure cooked in our kitchen using only natural ingredients.
Booking Policy
Please note that we hold reservations for a grace period of 15 minutes from the start of your booking. After this time, the table may be released to other guests.
Why whole botanicals?
Not dust in a bag. Flowers, leaves and roots.
We use ingredients you can recognise: golden chamomile heads, fragrant lavender, rose petals, lemon balm and cut valerian root. Valerian has a long history of traditional use in nighttime herbal preparations. Here, it anchors Phase One before the valerian-free Phase Two takes over.
